Our laser technology allows to deposit and immobilize ligand-free nanocatalysts on carrier substrates in the liquid phase.
The method allows nearly free material combinations. A wide spectrum of catalytically active nanomaterials (gold, platinum, palladium, rhodium, custom alloys ...) can be combined with a large variety of supports.
Laser-generated particles are stabilized by surface defects that lead to an electrical charge. The absence of ligands improves the affinity to carrier surfaces, while no catalytic centers are blocked by ligands. In a comparison with chemically synthesized nanoparticles (containing rests of citrate), the deposition efficiency was 100 times higher.

New: Supported Nanoparticles
Nano-active micropowder for catalysis, pigmentation, or polymer additives:
- precious metals (esp. Au, Pt) of about 10 nm,
- high defect density for catalytic effectiveness,
- adsorbed to microparticle carriers (TiO2, CeO, carbon, BaSO4),
- nanoparticle load of 0.1 to 1 wt% (up to 10 wt% for titania).

- 1 gram: 550 EUR,
- 10 grams: 1,440 EUR.
